Important NHS Address Confirmation Messages

Posted by: hollybrown - Posted on:

You may receive a letter, email, or text message from NHS England, supported by PCSE, asking you to confirm your home address. This is part of routine NHS work to keep patient records up to date.

✅ What to look out for:

– Emails come from: NHS Confirm your address <nhs.confirm.your.address@notifications.service.gov.uk>

– Text messages come from: NHSdetails (no links included – for security)

– Letters will be clearly marked as from the NHS

💻 Some patients who receive the email will be able to update their details directly via the NHS at: https://change-your-address.account.nhs.uk (This is a new service currently being tested.)

ℹ️ If you’re ever unsure about a message, you can contact our surgery to check.

We also have examples of genuine NHS messages to help you recognise them.

Remember: NHS text messages will never include clickable links
