What a great turn out for the Edge Hall Community Stadium Opening Day on Saturday 17th May from 10am with key stakeholders from Wigan Warriors and Wigan Athletic in attendance, along with invited dignitaries from the relevant governing bodies, Wigan Council and the NHS.

Players from both Women’s teams, as well as representatives from the Men’s teams, where in attendance with the official opening ceremony to take place later in the day. The redevelopment of the Edge Hall Road training facility for Wigan Warriors & Wigan Athletic Women’s teams is a fundamental statement in the club’s aspirations for the Women & Girls pathway..
